Corporate Retreat.

One of the definitions of retreat is 'a quiet and safe place'. Somewhere perhaps to allow a corporate group to step back and take stock away from the noise and daily grind of the working week yet somewhere that feels special. An environment that lends itself to expression and sharing of plans, hopes and aspirations personally and for the company as a whole.

The Future Laboratory.

Martin Raymond, Creative Director at The Future Laboratory in London talks about 'the Ballilogue Hamlet in the Irish countryside as a place where ideas happen, strategies are formed and decisions made. Ballilogue is in essence a place of reflection, a place of work, a place for making plans and mapping out future strategies'. See Ballilogue retreats page here.

An Oasis in the Kilkenny countryside.

Providing that environment conducive to creativity, fresh ideas and thinking is what the team at Ballilogue do for core teams on corporate getaways and retreats in the Kilkenny countryside. Ballilogue has 11 bedrooms across 3 architecturally beautiful houses and gardens enveloped by the village-like stone structures of the private Hamlet. Former Dairies are now dining and meeting halls. Farmhouses are light filled double-height spaces with break out areas. The raised glass atriums are just fantastic at the end of productive days for drinks and canapés. The pre-famine Cottage ideal for music and storytelling and the rivers and bohereens close by for activities and walks!

A Feast for the senses at Ballilogue.

Tradition combines with artisan luxury in the bedrooms and living spaces. The Ballilogue chefs provide gourmet dishes prepared from fresh and local ingredients. The Ballilogue manager ensures the retreat works smoothly and privately from the monitors in the meeting spaces to the scheduling of the meals. Every detail is considered!

Dublin to Kilkenny in under two hours.

While deep in the Kilkenny countryside, Ballilogue is less than two hours from Dublin airport or city and transport, activities, including visits to wonderful Kilkenny, it's Castle or the pretty village of Inistioge with it's pubs and cafes can also be arranged. Delightful to retreat to Ballilogue late in the year with wood burning stoves or in the early Spring when the wildflower gardens and hedgerows spring into life. The chorus of birdsong is a fine backdrop to setting goals and planning the future, perhaps even suggesting solutions!

Understated and Discreet.

As John Mahony, the CEO of ReputationInc, based in Dublin, New York and London commented on Ballilogue following a corporate retreat there 'the food is amazing and yet Ballilogue manages to be exquisitely understated and discreet. Spending time cocooned in this magical place was just the lift our team needed. See Ballilogue retreat details here

Forbes USA and Ballilogue.

'Think of Ballilogue as a luxury retreat, small enough for a getaway with friends, but big enough for a family reunion, a wedding, a yoga retreat or even a corporate retreat, given that it’s only 90 minutes from Dublin Airport'. Everett Potter, New York Travel Writer for Forbes USA
