Ballilogue is delighted to announce that it's team have now added the latest innovation, The Shed Bar at Ballilogue is exclusively for our private guests to enjoy. Another layer to experience and enjoy during their visit and celebration. It's the perfect combination of Design and tradition, linking not just the Old Dairy dining hall with the pre-famine Cottage Museum but also the tradition of Irish rural life at Ballilogue with contemporary living.
DESIGN, CRAFT AND TRADITION
The photographic memories of the people who lived in the Hamlet and emigrated from it sit side by side with books on art, fashion, sculpture and food. The commissioned, light installation are an enormous series of wicker lamps, hand made and caked in mud. The cocktail and champagne glassed are all unique, different and hand blown specially for the Shed Bar at Ballilogue. The tables, chairs and benches are used, re-cycled, worn and a leather wing-back armchair sits in a corner too surveying the bar and dining room off in the distance!
ENJOYING THE CRAIC AT BALLILOGUE
The best of Irish craft, Ballilogue cocktails, wines and champagnes for a wonderful soiree pre-dinner, a freshly ground pot of filtered Arabic coffee or a drink with delicious tapas in hand-turned bowls on bar stools commissioned specially for Ballilogue. The sash windows with paint peeling patina of shutters overlook the courtyard on one side and the orchard on the other. The Shed Bar cement floor and library shelves in raw wood are perfect in the stillness, reflecting the history of the Hamlet. A place to while away an hour with music, laughter, a quiet chat or the joy of quiet times sipping and reading periodicals and books from it's library shelves.
