GIFTING AT BALLILOGUE - IRELAND'S LUXURY RETREAT

December 5, 2018

Design and Luxury

Luxury, tradition and design are comfortable bedfellows at Ballilogue, in the Kilkenny countryside. Like a much loved jacket or coat there is something surprising yet reassuring in the fit, the texture and the feel.

Light Filled Spaces

There is the soaring light filled spaces, the books on art, gardening and photography, the warmth of the wood burning stoves, the little bohreens that go on forever, the birdsong, even the smell of thyme, sage and lavender too.

Wedding Celebration

Those who come, return to Ballilogue for a Wedding, a celebration or time away from the world nestled in the comfort of hand spun blankets and Egyptian cotton sheets close to pretty Inistioge!

Gifting Ballilogue

Often too guests gift Ballilogue to others, to spend on a stay in the Farmhouse, Lodge or Barn. Perhaps to spend on the Ballilogue selection of Champagne, Cavas or Wines, a catered feast by the Ballilogue chefs or a gift to take away from the curated Design and Craft Shop hidden in the fabric of Mrs. Meaney's Cottage! Blankets and cushions from Irish artisans, candles and diffusers from Voya, the seaweed scent people from Sligo on Ireland's Wild Atlantic Way.

Irish National Heritage Park

Perhaps patterned hand bound books from Adelle Hickey, ceramics from Marcus O'Mahony, scarves and sweaters from Fisherman Out Of Ireland and Tea Towels from Ballilogue's own patterned Collection celebrating an Irish past and heritage through design and innovation. In a lovely collaboration with Maura Bell, the Ballilogue curated collection is now also available to buy from the great gift shop at the Irish National Heritage Park in Wexford (just off the N25).

Ireland's Ballilogue

It's the unexpected, the little things, the possibilities that make Kilkenny's Ballilogue Hamlet interesting and rewarding. Gifting or staying it's a different way of seeing Ireland and enjoying all it has to offer.
